Limestone

Limestone is a sedimentary rock composed largely of the minerals calcite and aragonite, which are different crystal forms of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). Many limestones are composed from skeletal fragments of marine organisms such as coral or foraminifera.

The surface texture of this stone is fine grained. Limestone can be utilized for wall-cladding, flooring and various other interior and exterior applications.

Properties such as high resistance in freezing and thawing conditions make natural limestone an ideal for architectural purposes.
